Skateboard park design on agenda - Abington Mariner Posted: 04 Aug 2010 12:05 PM PDT The DPW Building Committee will review the preliminary design for the planned skateboard park at the Carlson Fields in a public meeting Monday, Aug. 9, at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall. A skateboard park is part of the original plan to build the new DPW complex off Fort Hill Street and the adjacent athletic fields. The sports complex also features a Little League field, a girls softball field, two large full-size all-purpose fields, two outdoor basketball courts, and a walking path around the facility.
