| Local youth column: Boys and girls high school team prep league to start - Naples Daily News Posted: 30 Jan 2011 08:54 PM PST NAPLES — The SWFL Youth Basketball High School Team Prep League is for boys and girls already playing on or wishing to make their high school varsity or junior varsity teams. Organized teams are welcome to register. The league runs from March 28 to June 2. Each team will play on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5 to 9 p.m. Teams are guaranteed 20 games, which includes a playoff and championship game. Ten teams maximum. First come, first serve. Games will be held at the Golden Gate Recreation Center and/or Seacrest Country Day School and will be officiated by FHSAA officials. Trophies presented to the championship team and runners-up. Early registration is encouraged.
