It was Kenton Thomas's first Memorial Day weekend at The Bridgewater Channel. "It's a bit crazy and it kind of sucks when you are trying to ride down here and running into people," said the 16-year-old Lake Havasu City resident, sitting on his bike.Thomas and his buddy, 15-year-old Cole Simmonds, spent Saturday morning negotiating partiers along the Channel searching for Simmonds's stolen bike. "It's a bit overboard," Thomas said about the number of partiers. "It's what they want to do, I guess." Soon, another one of their buddies, 15-year-old Austin Hawk, rolled up on his skateboard. "It's freaking sweet," he said. "Just all the girls. I'm not going to lie to you." Then the boys cracked open their tall cans of energy drinks and rode off looking for a bike. Anyone with information on the Fit Street 3 flat black bike with a purple gyro, pedals, spokes, seat and bar ends should call 928-855-5679. The bike was stolen from McDonald's and last seen at the London Bridge Resort. There is a $300 reward.
